Haven Humane volunteers are a vital part of our team; providing enrichment and care for our animals that they would not receive without you.

Whether in the office or walking the dogs, you will be helping save the lives of pets in our community.

Favorite Volunteer Opportunities

Dog Walking

Dog walkers provide all of the outside play time for our dogs. Walkers play with our pups in fenced play areas and walk around our beautiful land.

Dogs are ranked by difficulty, so you'll never take out a pup that is too challenging for you.

Kitten Nursery

Care for kittens who too young to be put up for adoption. Bottle feed the babies, teach older kittens how to eat on their own, change bedding, and make formula. Learn more.

This is mostly a Springtime position

Other positions include: veterinary hospital, photographer, grooming, events, transport, cattery socialization, and much more.

Youth STAR Program

STAR (Socilization & Training for Adoption Readiness) is an educational volunteer program for youth to learn fun basic dog training and handling - all while helping to get our pups adopted earlier! Held every Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
