Vaccinating animals "clinic-style" avoids an office visit fee and allows us to provide the lowest-cost vaccines in the area.
Walk-ins only. First come, first serve. Cats must be in a carrier. NO FERAL CATS.
Microchips are just $30—no appointment needed! Walk in Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Receiving Building B. Or visit our Vaccine Clinic for the same price.
Clinics are held on most Wednesdays, see the calendar. Summer & winter hours:
• May - October: 8 am-10 am
• November - April: 2 pm-4 pm
We will not vaccinate feral cats at the clinic.
SUGGESTED VACCINES & PREVENTATIVE CARE

KITTEN CARE
• Wellness Exam: required to purchase heartworm prevention • FVRCP vaccine: give at 8-9 weeks of age. Booster every 3 weeks until 16 weeks of age, then vaccinate once a year. • Rabies Vaccine: give at 3-4 months of age, then every 3 years. • Microchip • De-worm with Pyrantel twice (3 weeks apart) if not starting topical heartworm prevention • Flea/tick prevention • Treatment for tapeworms if fleas are noted • FeLV Vaccine: if cat is indoor/outdoor. Start at 12 weeks, boost in 3 weeks, then vaccinate once a year. • FIV/FeLV test if introducing into a multi-cat household. Repeat at 6 month of age. • Fecal exam

PUPPY CARE
• Wellness Exam: required to purchase heartworm prevention • DHPP vaccine: give at 6-8 weeks of age. Booster every 3 weeks until 16 weeks of age or older, then vaccinate once a year. • Rabies Vaccine– give at 3–4 months, then every 3 years. • Microchip • Bordetella Vaccine: give at 8-12 weeks, then once a year. • Flea/Tick Prevention • Treatment for Tapeworm if Fleas are noted • Fecal Exam • Deworm with pyrantel twice (3 weeks apart) if not starting Heartworm Prevention • Leptospirosis if exposed to standing water, ponds, wildlife. Start at 12 weeks, booster in 3 weeks, then once a year. • Heartworm Test at 6-7 months of age, then repeat testing every 2 years. • An annual exam (once a year) is required to purchase heartworm prevention. • Heartworm prevention is suggested to start at 8 weeks of age.

ADULT CARE
Follow the same recommendations as for puppies and kittens. If your pet has no vaccine history, they only need two booster shots, given three weeks apart.
