Veterinary Services

WHO QUALIFIES?

Haven Humane Society's Veterinary Hospital is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to decrease pet overpopulation. In an effort to prevent more unwanted animals, we offer the services of low cost spay and neuter to any pet regardless of income. However, if you need wellness care such as vaccines, or have a sick pet, you must qualify for our services.

Qualifications include holding a card for one of the following assistant programs; Medi-Cal,                                 Medicare, CalFresh, Partnership HealthPlan of California, CMSP, a veterans card, or your annual household income according to the following table. Taxable income must be below the following:

One person in home -- $25,980
Two people in home -- $29,700
Three people in home -- $33,420
Four people in home -- $37,080
Five people in home -- $40,080
Six people in home -- $43,020
Seven people in home -- $46,020
Eight people in home -- $48,960

Our veterinary hospital is now seeing exotic animals and any animals that have been adopted from us that have medical needs. If you adopt an animal from us with medical needs and own other animals, your additional animals can also been seen at our hospital.

These forms of qualification do not pay for the service you receive for your pet, they only provide the low income qualification to have your pet seen at our low cost hospital.
